Feleyu presenta Canteros n'Escocia

Va ser nel Shetland Folk Festival nel que los Felpeyos tengan la oportunidá de presentar el so últimu discu énte'l publico escocés. El festival de folk de les Isles Shetland vien cellebrándose dende 1981 y ye ún de los más prestixosos d'Escocia, nun tién ánimu de llucru y ta entamáu por voluntarios cola fin de presentar n'aquelles remotes isles el meyor folk mundial.
Nesta edición comparten cartelu cola banda asturiana perconocíos nomes como Cara Dillon, Shooglenifty, Dáimh, The Brock Maguire Band (de los cofundadores de Moving Cloud Paul Brock y Manus Maguire), los daneses Zar, las francocandienses Gadelle...

With Asturian roots, Felpeyu is a well-established and yet refreshing act on the Spanish traditional music scene having toured extensively in their home country as well France, Portugal, Australia, Italy, Scandinavia, Canada, Poland and Lebanon. The band's musical approach rests upon a solid rhythm section of bouzouki, bass and bodhran alongside the box, fiddle, wooden flute and Asturian bagpipes - played by some of the region's most musically respected musicians. They write new lyrics for ancient tunes, compose new music for traditional lyrics and arrange instrumental sets that are so energetic audiences can rarely resist dancing to them!

With four albums to date ("Felpeyu", "Tierra", "Yá!" and "Canteros"), this exciting band continue to contribute hugely to the preservation and promotion of Asturian culture. Travelling to Shetland are Fernando Oyágüez on Bouzouki, vocals; Dudu Puente on NS Bass Cello, Lead vocals; Xuan Nel Expósito on Box accordion; Moisés Suárez on Guitar; Ruma Barbero on Bodhran. Lisardo Prieto on Fiddle & vocals and Diego Pangua: Gaita, wooden flute.
